Maa Tara in Sasaram is situated in a natural cave of Kaimur hill of Vindhya mountain range. Next to the goddess statue, the Kharwar dynasty king Mahanayak Pratap Dhavaldev of the twelfth century has got a big inscription written here by his son Shatrudhan.
